  1. I also loved Gemmill for what he did for Forest under the guidance of the Mighty Brian Clough. Named my second son after him.

  2. Graeme Anthony says:

You named your son Gemmill…bit harsh isn’t it?

  3. Simon says:

    I’ll keep pitching them…….

  4. Corky says:

This was my first World Cup. “Weer orn thi match wi’ Ally’s Army, weer arl goon the worold cup.” or something. They’ll never beat the theme tunes that the bbc and itv put out that year either. Remember watching this in me jama’s aged 9. It was the end of an era for Scotland. Archie looked liked a hard drinking binman with a season ticket to the chippy but he turned the dutch inside out here.

  5. Simon says:

My first memory of the World Cup was the 74 final. As I recall, I watched it on a portable that was in a burger van somewhere in Wales. I remember my Dads sheer disappointment when the Germans won

  6. Kieron says:

    Brilliant goal!
